Ras Michamvi rooms have sea-view and are located on a coral rock overlooking the Indian Ocean's different shades of turquoise and azure blue.

Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar has 15 rooms, all with sea view terraces, and set up on the cliffs, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. 3 of those rooms are built for disabled guest, with all features.

Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar rooms have ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold water, Swahili four poster beds with mosquito nets, a table, chair, minibar with soft drinks, and a large terrace with sea view.

The sea view restaurant on the cliff offers European and local Swahili dishes, and there soon will be a beach bar.

Due to its isolated location there are lots of lonely beaches nearby, and one can wander for kilometers on the white sandy beaches.

The peninsula is an only 10 kilometers long and 2 km broad headland between Chwaka Bay on the East and the Indian Ocean on the West. As there are only a handful of hotels in this pristine area, quitness is guaranteed. The only sounds you are likely to hear are the gentle waves of the Indian Ocean and nature itself. Chwaka Bay is part of the Jozani Forest- Chwaka Bay Conservation Area. The coral rag zone is habitat for wildlife species of international significance including the endemic and near extinct Zanzibar leopard (P.pardus adersii), the red colobus monkey (Procolubus badius Kirkii) and the Ader duiker (Cephalophud adersii). The Conservation area harbours five important vegetation zones: ground water forest, coral rag forest, salt marsh, mangrove forest, and sea grass beds. Trips exploring the nature with a local guide can be arranged from the hotel. On the Peninsula's Ocean side, there is a long barrier reef approximately 1 km offshore. We can arrange diving and snorkelling trips at the reef. Mnemba Island in the North of Zanzibar's East Coast is a popular coral reef diving spot of international importance. We rent snorkelling and diving equipment. Zanzibar's capital Stone Town can be reached in approximately 45 Minutes by car. On the way there you will pass Jozani Forest, famous for its red colobus monkeys. And if you are seeking for nightlife, the village of Paje is only 20 minutes away. 		All of Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar 15 rooms have sea view. They are located in 4 bungalows on a coral rock elevation overlooking the beach and the ocean. Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar new and modern bungalows are built of stone and have wooden terraces, makuti-style thatched roofs, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, mini-fridges, en-suite bathrooms with shower, bathtub, cold and hot water. Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar rooms are very spacious and tastefully furnished in local style. Three bungalows have 4 rooms and one bungalow has 3 rooms only. One room is especially equipped to meet the needs of handicapped guests.
	Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar restaurant is located on top of the same coral rock elevation as the bungalows - hence you can overlooking the beach and sea from the round panoramic open building under a big makuti thatched roof. It is the place where you will start the day with a tropical breakfast including fresh fruits and juice, eggs and different kinds of bread.
		For lunch and dinner our restaurant offers local and continental dishes. There is also a selection of vegetarian dishes. You can have a romantic candle-light dinner at night and feel the true magic of this place when the moonlight reflects on the gentle waves of the Indian Ocean. From time to time we also arrange barbecues on the beach.
	Our Beaches Part of Ras Michamvi Beach Resort Zanzibar hotel plot are three beautiful tropical beaches. One beach can be easily accessed via new, wooden stairs and features local deckchairs and thatched sunshades. It invites you to splash into the crystal-clear clean waters and refresh from the intense tropical sun. Even during low tide you can wade to a lagoon where swimming is possible at any time. From this beach you can walk to another beach just behind some rocks.
		The third beach we call "Coconut beach". It can be accessed with a short descend from the hotel through a little forest. It is a wide deserted beach and it is our plan to set up a relaxing chill-out lounge next to a baobab tree behind that beach. Between coconut beach and our main beach, in the morning you can observe local fishermen selling octopus. There are several wild animals living on our plot that can be spotted such as dick-dicks (small species of antelope), dykes monkeys and even the endemic red Colobus monkeys.
