Camping in general on the Island is not encouraged as tenting is not allowed commercially on the Island.
But there is a number of smaller establishments offering accomodation with Tents and Bandas- (full-suit)-constructed from top to bottom using "makutis", the palm leafs from the coconut tree. |

Tents
and Bandas(full-suit)-are
available for
"barefoot" travellers and
visitors on a tight budget. The bandas
are built from palm fronds and provide simple furniture, mosquito nets
and a private seating area. There are shared shower and washroom
facilities available.
