Northern Circuit Tanzania
Lodge Safaris start from

town/Airport
or from the
kilimanjaro
International Airport (JRO).
So preferably fly into
kilimanjaro,
if not
dar
es salaam
or
zanzibar,
itself, depends what fares you find and how flexible you can be.
If you are flying into
dar
es salaam
or
zanzibar
you would have to fly to
arusha
or
kilimanjaro
to start your safari if it is the
northern safari circuits
or fly to the
southern safari
circuits!!
Dar to Arusha/Kilimanjaro flights cost $245.- USD one way per person.
Flying from
zanzibar
costs the same to the
northern safari circuits.
Flying
zanzibar
to
dar
es salaam
costs $85.- USD per seat.
For southern circuit safaris flights cost $200.- USD one way from Dar es
Salaam or
zanzibar
to the
selous
for instance!
You may also fly into Dar es Salaam which is only a 20 minute scheduled
flight away from Zanzibar costing $85.- USD per seat one way.
If you fly into Kilimanjaro (the northern safari circuit, Serengeti,
Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire) depends what time you arrive,
you either spend a night in Arusha and start your safari the following
day or immediately start your northern circuit safari.

Itinerary Sample 1:
NGORONGORO CRATER/ SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (5 days, 4 nights)
DAY 1: ARUSHA – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, transfer to Ngorongoro, lunch at the lodge followed
by a half day crater tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. HOTEL &
LODGES/ SERENA/ SOPA.
DAY 2: FULL DAY NGORONGORO CRATER
Dinner and overnight stay at HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA.
DAY 3: NGORONGORO – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Dinner and overnight stay at HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA
DAY 4: FULL DAY SERENGETI PARK
Dinner and overnight at HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA.
DAY 5: SERENGETI – ARUSHA
Start early after breakfast for Arusha, game viewing enroute, mini
shopping at Mto wa Mbu on the escarpment of the lift valley. Dinner
and overnight in Arusha.
LAKE MANYARA/ SERENGETI/ NGORONGORO (6 DAYS, 5 NIGHTS)
DAY 1: ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA.
Around 8 AM. Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for A.M game
drive, lunch at the hotel. P.M game drive. Dinner and overnight at
HOTEL & LODGE/SOPA/ SERENA/ LODGES OR CAMPSITE.
DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA – SERENGETI PARK
With picnic lunch transfer to Serengeti Park via Olduvai gorge. Picnic
lunch at the gorge. Lunch is followed by game viewing up to Sereonera.
Late P.M transfer to lodge HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA/ LODGES OR
CAMPSITE. For your dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3: FULL DAY SERENGETI
Overnight camp/ HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA
DAY 4: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
Overnight camp. HOTEL & LODGE/ SOPA/ SERENA
DAY 5: FULL – DAY NGORONGORO CRATER
Transfer to Lake Manyara Hotel/ SERENA/Campsite for dinner and overnight
stay.
DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA.
These rates are for a PRIVATE SAFARI, just the two of you in vehicle.
NOTE: The cost above is in the four wheel drive vehicle, Land Cruiser or
110 Land Rover(TDI). We have also extended Land Rover/Land Cruiser and
Minibus 4 x 4. The cost will include all Lodge bills full board, all
Park entrance fee, Driver Guide, and Soft drinks.
What is included
Fully supported lodge/camping with meals as shown in the itinerary, Park
entrance fees, Camping fees, Transportation to Manyara, Serengeti Park,
Ngorongoro, Sleeping bags, Driver Guide, Cook, crater fee, and
camping gears.
What is not included
The price does not include international flights or departure taxes,
drinking water,. personal insurance, visa fees, vaccination costs,
personal clothing and equipment, all items of a personal nature and all
alcoholic drinks, gratuity/ tips. Meals unless specified above,
Transfers to and from Arusha to another destinations.
Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Serengeti costs $550.- USD per
person!!
After the safari you would fly from Arusha/Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar.
Meet and greet on Zanzibar and transfer $60.- USD in total one way, to
any of the following beach resorts:
