What is included:
Your accommodation, your meals, all beverages except for limited spirit
alcohol, transport costs, ingredients for the course, equipment for the
course, park entrance fees and fuel costs is what is included in the
cost. You will get to share your rooms and there is 1 ablution facility
for you to share.
What is not included:
Your visas, air fares + airport taxes, laundry, telephone calls, faxes,
medical insurance, items of a personal nature and any other expense not
mentioned in the itinerary is not included in the cost.

Introducing you to the world of outdoor cooking and entertainment combined with an excellent safari at the same time.
The Tanzania Cooking Safaris has developed these cooking safaris because of love for the outdoors and the love of cooking and entertaining friends and family with simple but sumptuous and tasty dishes using mainly venison, wild ducks & geese and everyday cooking ingredients mainly chicken, lamb, beef, pork, fresh water & sea fish.
Tanzania Cooking Safari at times involves both cooking on a stove and open fire/charcoal.
This results in better tasting foods. |

Recipes are original and some from family and friends which have gathered since cooking safari operator first day of cooking at the age of 11. |

You start your first meal prepared by you and other students for dinner on your own with the provided ingredients and also to make much needed supplies for the rest of the cooking safari.
You will be a part of every meal preparation from start to finish ( you will only be provided with guidance, so it means you will do everything) and what you make is what will be eaten while on safari. |

You will learn to make roasts, stews, traditional South African dishes, sausages & boerewors, cold meats, curries, burger patties, rice dishes, breads and some desserts either being cooked on open fires/charcoal or combination with stoves, but mainly on the open fire.
All ingredients are supplied and equipment is basic only, as you will be spending most of your time in semi luxury places and cooking outdoors. |

Tanzania Cooking Safaris supplies come only from local producers ,wines, meat , and vegetables. Were possible, we try and use only organic produce.
You will get to visit local restaurants, local fresh produce supermarkets, a dairy and cheesery, trout farm, local wine estates were possible, game reserve for game viewing, all wine and beer is supplied, some spirit alcohol but in limited quantities only.
