Sunrise, operating since January 1994, is a small and casual hotel with Belgian management, located along one of the nicest, safest and most peaceful beaches of Zanzibar.

It is distant 60km from town and it takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive to reach it. The average price per car/minibus taking max. 6 people is about $50 one - way. |

Sunrise Hotel and Restaurant Zanzibar is an idyllic place to rest, read, swim, snorkel and walk.
|
|
Bicycles or motor cycles can be rented with possibilities to drive on the beach.
2 diving centres are available at close range. A brand new swimming pool has been installed in June 2000. |

Sunrise offers 2 types of accommodation; 4 standard rooms facing the
garden and 8 rooms in bungalows facing the sea.

The beach is right in front. All rooms are self contained with
hot/cold water, ceiling fans and mosquito nets;
there is no air-conditioning in the rooms since, along the coast here, there is always a cooling breeze. |

CHILDREN’ POLICY:
Children under two years old do not pay. Children between 2 and 12 years
of age pay 20$ per child/night when sharing the same room as the
parents.
Children of any age not sharing the same room as their parents pay the full rate. |

| Check-out time is 10 a.m. and check-in time is 11 a.m. | |||
| Half board is available at US $ 25 per adult and 15$ per child per day. No full board is available. | |||
| Beware that a surcharge of 25% will be applicable on all accommodation rates above between December 20th and January 11th 2009 | |||
