We are often asked by customers whether our company is a member of a bonding agency such as ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents). This organization provides insurance against company failure for UK packaged holiday companies, selling to UK customers. We are not required by law to hold membership of such organizations, primarily because we do not sell packaged holidays, but an a la carte selection of individually itemized elements. More importantly, we choose not to become a member of such organizations because we do not feel that it is the most effective way to protect our customers against a catastrophic failure of our company. Furthermore, because our customers are truly worldwide, becoming a member of individual country organizations is an even less effective a method of customer protection. |

However, we do consider it absolutely essential that our customers are provided the best possible protection and as such we have set up our business to operate as follows: |

1- We pay all suppliers well in advance of your arrival, so that even if we have disappeared, your |
|
|
bookings remain intact. |
|
|
2- We retain all other moneys (i.e., our profit) in a separate bank account until after customers |
|
|
have returned from their trip. |
|
|
All other eventualities should be covered under your travel insurance, which we insist that all |
|
|
customers have and which should be taken out at the time of booking in order to protect against |
|
| the need to make a cancellation. In this way we are able to offer full bullet-proof bookings | |
| security to all our customers worldwide. | |

The other subject which could nag at the minds of customers in advance of making a booking are |

questions about our competence. How do you know that we know what we are doing and that we |
|
|
are good at it? This we can try to overcome in a number of ways: |

1- We can put you in touch with past customers. Over the last years we have had customers |
|
|
from most parts of the world and we should be able to refer you to someone in your country, |
|
| who will hopefully be able to recommend us. | |
| 2- We can copy you in on all bookings correspondence with the suppliers, including bookings | |
| reconfirmations, so you can be doubly sure that your bookings are in place. | |
|
Hopefully the tonality and depth of our website and the level of expertise and service offered by our staff in Muenchen, Germany and on Zanzibar itself will have already gone most of the way to putting your mind at ease, but if you still have concerns about your bookings security, please let us know and we will do everything we can to provide the necessary reassurances. |
