The unique design of these chalets have been inspired from the ARAB FORT (which was built in Zanzibar between 1698 and 1701) but structured to create a modern ambience. Each chalet has been fitted with large glass doors and windows to allow maximum flow of the natural breeze from the Ocean and also has its own seafront deck. |

The chalets have all been tastefully furnished with the Zanzibar style four poster beds as well as other locally and naturally inspired wooden décor. Amenities in the room include: hot and cold water facilities, split unit air conditioning systems, ceiling fans, hairdryers, mosquito nets, electronic safes etc. There is also a substantial capacity of a standby power generator in case of power shortage or disruption. |

Food & Restaurant Services Our main seafront restaurant, which is built with African style makuti thatched roof and local wood structures, will serve fresh catch of the day, from the local fishermen from the nearby village. Our seafood selection includes kingfish, calamari, lobsters, shrimps, crabs…just to name a few. The meals are served on the restaurant patio but on a number of special occasions, candle light dinners are set up on the beach to create spectacular and romantic ambience with every bite. Our local renowned chefs shall also prepare delicious appetizing cuisine from the local ingredients including fresh coconut and aromatic spices. On special requests, local foods like Ugali and Nyama Choma can be prepared. |

Water Sports & Diving
Diving & Snorkeling Zanzibar diving and snorkeling is amongst the most spectacular in the world with stunning coral gardens and more than 350 fish species recorded. The diverse aquatic life off Zanzibar's coast includes frequent sightings of turtles and dolphins, as well as occasional sightings of humpback whales and whale sharks! There are magnificent dive sites offered by the nearby Scuba diving centre who offer variety and adventure for beginners trying scuba for the first time as well as for the experienced diver! |

| The dives are planned by them around the tides to offer you the best visibility and least currents. However, their diverse reefs offer brilliant diving any time of day, and year-round diving. You may choose drift diving, deep diving, fish identification or an exhilarating night dive! Fringing Kendwa Reef offers lovely coral bommies close to shore in shallow water, however their diving and snorkeling trips are all by boat. |

Snorkellers may choose to go to Kendwa Reef and Kendwa Gardens which are located 800 meters out from from the dive base and hence only a couple minutes by boat. Enthusiastic snorkellers may choose to swim to the reef - please stop by the dive centre for tips and pointers. | ||
| Tumbatu Island is highly recommended for snorkeling; with untouched reefs it is still a hidden treasure and only a 15 minute journey by speed boat. Last, but certainly not least, snorkellers will want to see the famous Mnemba Atoll which by the boats is only a 30 minute journey from the dive centre. Snorkellers are welcome to join any dive boats going to these destinations or this dive centre shall organize a trip exclusively for snorkeling if you desire. |
