	Fundu Lagoon, Pemba, Island Zanzibar Fundu Lagoon is on Pemba island , the sister island to Zanzibar lying across the Pemba Channel to the north. Fundu Lagoon is situated on a remote and beautiful beach on the south western side of the island and is only accessible by boat. There are fourteen bungalows, consisting of spacious tents, set under makuti (thatch) roofs on wooden decks and each with a view over the ocean. Fundu Lagoon is the perfect location for a relaxed, sun drenched dream holiday, due to its idyllic, laid back environment. For the ultimate honeymoon, Fundu Lagoon offers a beach suite with its own private chill out area and plunge pool.
		The rooms are equipped with large double or twin beds, mosquito nets, ceiling and standing fans, and indoor and outdoor seating areas. Each has an ensuite bathroom with fresh hot water shower, toilet and basin. Fundu Lagoon rooms are connected to the main buildings by sand walkways. Some rooms are situated along the beachfront with the remaining on an elevated position overlooking the ocean. 	Fundu Lagoon aims to provide the perfect environment for an idyllic vacation, an untroubled haven of tropical sunshine. The resort offers two bars, a games and television room and an excellent restaurant serving local and international cuisine. Fundu Lagoon has been happy to announce the introduction of a massage and treatment room. Listed as one of the top diving locations in the world, we also cater for the more energetic holiday-maker with a fully-equipped PADI diving Centre and a wide range of watersports including snorkeling, waterskiing and kayaking.
		There are 14 bungalows, one of which is a beach suite with its own private chill-out deck and plunge pool. They are built on hardwood stilted decks, located discreetly amongst the trees on the beach, and higher up overlooking the bay, all with their own sense of privacy yet giving full and easy access to the amenities. Each bungalow has its own hardwood-panelled bathroom with walk-in shower with hot and cold running water and presents the exclusive Fundu Lagoon product range created from local resources. The main areas are all built under thatch and are large and airy and overlook the ocean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main area or at the jetty bar with a three course lunch and dinner, some of the best cuisine to be found in East Africa.
	An amazing jetty stretches way out into the ocean and the jetty bar is situated about a third of the way along, offering a wonderful place to relax. The barmen are happy to mix your favorite cocktail for you. To one side of Reception sits the Dive 7 10 diving centre. From here you can organise any number of activities from snorkelling to full PADI Open Water Diving Courses. Tucked away inside the main area of the resort there is a Satellite TV room with low-level cushioned seating for those who wish to keep up with goings-on in the rest of the world. Outside on the balcony you can play pool and darts whilst being catered for from the bar.
		Welcome to Dive 710 at Fundu Lagoon The waters of the Indian Ocean are among the richest and most exciting in the world. The ocean around Fundu Lagoon on Pemba Island and in the Pemba Channel is renowned in both Scuba Diving and Fishing circles as one of the world's best. Pemba Island is remote and relatively unknown. The tiny traditional villages of Pemba have had little impact on the coast and the coral reefs around Pemba are largely in pristine condition. Pemba is surrounded by dramatic and exciting coral reefs stretching as far as the eye can see. The colourful Indian Ocean marine life can therefore breed and interact along the plunging coral walls that so well symbolise Pemba Island.

We also offer Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster Courses.
	Dive 710 is run by Russell and Cindy, trained PADI instructors with many years of experience of diving in Pemba and Zanzibar. Russell and Cindy and their team of local islanders provide expert training and insider knowledge on all aspects of diving in the area. At Dive 710, the emphasis is on getting the most fun out of the sport whilst retaining the utmost respect for the environment and for diver safety. Our main dive boats can take up to 14 divers and are capable of 50 knots. With these Rigid Raiders we can reach any parts of Pemba Islands on a daily basis.
