Their are several good places for entertainment on the Island such as at the Botanic Country Resort (PARTY #1 on Zanzibar!!) located 14 kilometres out of town.
Here a mixture of music is played on most weekends including live music in the open air. The club is run by a young management and is very popular with the locals and expatriate community on the Island. Highly Reccomended. |

During the Zanzibar International Film Festival (Z.I.F.F) plenty of live bands are in town to perform in different venues on the Island. Other bigger hotels on the East Coasts also have disco nights and live music. |

On the North Coast of Zanzibar, Nungwi, beach and full moon parties are always popular and hotels usually take it in turns to throw a party ever so often.
The Old Fort in the Stone Town also has on several nights of the week a mixture of entertainment. |
