arrange all the logistics and paperwork for this special occasion so you
can sit back and leave it to us while you relax at the hotel and enjoy
the complimentary massage we have arranged for the Bride and Groom.
The
wedding ceremony will take place under a beautiful Palm & Bougainvillea
canopy on the white, sandy beach. Following the ceremony, Canapés and
Sparkling wine are served after you say I do…in the evening we have
arranged for a private and intimate dinner featuring the islands finest
produce fused with the spices and flavors of the Indian Ocean…a wedding
cake follows your dinner.
After this you will retire to your room for
your wedding night where we have arranged a surprise gift from the hotel
and a sumptuous tropical breakfast served in bed the following day.

If you wish to celebrate your special day with family and friends we
recommend this alternative. Breezes will arrange all the logistics and
paperwork for this special occasion so you can sit back and leave it to
us while you relax at the hotel and enjoy the complimentary massage we
have arranged for the Bride and Groom. The day before the wedding we
have arranged for Sundowners and bitings to be sent to your room and
those in your party.
The wedding ceremony will take place under a
beautiful Palm & Bougainvillea canopy on the white, sandy beach.
Following the ceremony, Canapés and Sparkling wine are served after you
say I do…in the evening we have arranged for a private Gala dinner
featuring the islands finest produce fused with the spices and flavors

4). Designer Wedding
We can also assist you in organizing your own special tailor made
wedding itinerary. Please contact us with your ideas and special
requests so that we can put together a suggested itinerary for you.
Documentation Requirements:
Terms & Conditions
Civil ceremonies must be held in the morning and on weekdays only. Civil
ceremonies are held in town and will be
followed by a symbolic ceremony on the beach at the hotel with the
couple stating their own vows.
We recommend that the bride & groom book a Superior Deluxe room
during the wedding.
All out door and beach activities including the cruise are dependent on
tides and weather.
All documentation for the wedding must be received within the time frame
specified.
Wedding performed by Minister at hotel.
Need to provide the following in a document certified by a Public
Notary: Application letter (must be in English and signed by both
parties) indicating that both applicants are single and want to marry in
Zanzibar with the intended date of marriage. This document should
include the following information: domicile, birth registration
information, names, birth dates and birthplace of parents. Statement
that you are single (extremely important) This letter should be
addressed to:

ANGLICAN WEDDING REQUIREMENTS:-
1. Birth Certificate
2. Certificate of Baptism. (This is essential for all church weddings)
3. A statement that both the bride and groom are single
4. A letter from their parish indicating that the parish has no
objection to the marriage
CATHOLIC WEDDING REQUIREMENTS:-
Birth Certificate
Letter of consent from the parents (or other family elder if the parents
are deceased)
Letter from their parish indicating that the guests have fulfilled all
requirements for to the marriage within the Catholic Church and that the
parish has no objections to the marriage. This should also indicate that
they have received their 1st Communion as well as Confirmation.
Civil Wedding at Regional Commissioners
Application letter (must be in English and signed by both parties)
indicating that both applications are single and want to marry in
Zanzibar with the intended date of marriage. This letter should be
certified by a Public Notary and should be addressed to:

5) A paper stating you are single (extremely important)

PLEASE NOTE
Civil Wedding will have to take place in the Regional Commissioners
Office.
Officials in Zanzibar must receive all this information at least 21 days
prior to the intended date of marriage. Prior to the ceremony, the
couple must meet with the Officials to verify all documentation.
This can be the same days as the ceremony.
You must ensure that all documents are received by the hotel at least 25
days before the intended date of marriage. Documents must be sent by
registered mail or courier in order to ensure delivery. We cannot accept
responsibility for any documents sent by other means.
Please note that requirements and processing periods in Zanzibar are
subject to change without reason or prior notification. The hotel does
not accept any liability whatsoever for changes which occur.
