Breakdown service is only available in the Northern Circuit; no service is available if you are in a remote area. Vehicle is insured for third party insurance. With this insurance you are liable for damage to the vehicle. Upon arrival we will need passport, driver’s license, credit card imprint or bond, and will need you to fill in a basic car hire contract. A deposit of minimum 25% is required which is non refundable is required to reserve the car; this can be done by wire transfer. For the remaining balance, to be settled at car hand over. EXTRA INFO Please note that the charges are the daily rate for the vehicle as reserved according to the dates stipulated by the client. Should the vehicle be returned prior to arranged date, no refund is entertained. Third party insurance means that in case of an accident the car you have rented is not covered, but the insurance will cover the cost of the damages to the other vehicle. Choice of vehicle * If you're hiring a car when you get here, your best option is a 4x4 sport utility vehicle with good road clearance, especially if you plan on going to a safari trip. Look for the Land Cruiser, Hilux Surf (4Runner), and Range Rover vehicles. Avoid mini-SUVs, such as the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV, because they can't always negotiate the poor road conditions in most of Tanzania's national parks.
